Food Habits in the UK

When I started working in the UK, there were a few things that I found particularly strange. One of them is definitely the English's bad food habit. (if you are within this group, here is a good article ;) )

They normally have, while still in front of the computer, a sandwich and/or a pack of crisps for lunch.

And the worst thing is: that is really the real meaning of the word lunch (any light meal or snack) while dinner means the main meal of the day.

Therefore, from now on, as a good Italian and Brazilian, the sequence of meals during my day is going to be: Breakfast, Dinner, Snack and Supper.

The fun theory

Hello All,

Earlier today I was reading some news using google reader and a friend of mine shared with his friends these two videos below. They show how small creative changes can modify people's behaviour. The idea behind these videos is known as "The fun theory".

The first one shows a set of stairs transformed in a big piano:

The next video creates the illusion of a really deep bin:

It is amazing how such small things can make people exercise or throw more rubbish into the bin.
